Penblaith Barn and Trevase Granary

Designed for memorable self-catering group stays, both properties offer generous social spaces and extensive facilities, making it easy to cook, dine, entertain and relax together.

Kitchen & Dining Equipment

Both properties feature large, fully equipped kitchens designed to comfortably cater for up to 18 guests:

• Range cooker with electric double oven and warming drawer. Six-ring gas hob.

  • Penblaith Barn: American-style fridge-freezer, with ice making facilities. Under-counter fridge and drinks fridges in ‘bar area’ (see Bar facilities).
  • Trevase Granary: the main kitchen has three under-counter fridges and one under-counter freezer. A wine fridge in the dining room. The games room has a fridge-freezer and drinks fridges in ‘bar area’ (see Bar facilities).

  • Trevase Granary: Two in main kitchen and one in games room.

• Coffee facilities:
  • Bean to cup coffee machine (one 250g bag of locally roasted coffee beans provided within welcome pack).
  • Cafetiere.
• Ice facilities:
  • Penblaith Barn has built-in ice-making facilities, and ice cube trays.
  • Trevase Granary has ice cube trays.
• Depending on your demand for ice, you may also wish to bring bags of ice.
• Smaller appliances:
  • Electric whisk, hand blender, Magimix and George Foreman grill
• Other: flower vases and knife sharpener

Crockery, Cutlery & Glassware

• Full set of crockery including dinner plates, side plates, pudding bowls, teacups, teapots, mugs and more.
• Full set of cutlery for three course dining including large and small knives and forks, soup spoons, pudding spoons, steak knives and more.
• Glasses: champagne flutes, wine glasses, water tumblers, pints, as well as high quality plastic in the bar area (see below) and water jugs.
• Children’s plastic crockery, cutlery and cups

Cooking & Baking Equipment

• A wide range of serving dishes and platters, including nibbles dishes, sauce jugs, gravy jugs and more, for all types of meals.
• Large range of roasting tins, meat trays, pizza trays, muffin/yorkshire pudding tins, frying pans, saucepans and colanders. Casserole dishes.
• Baking items (weighing scales, mixing bowls, measuring items, sieve, springform cake tin, quiche tin, cooling racks).
• Wide range of utensils from scissors, wooden spoons, spatulas, whisk, potato mashers, cheese graters to even a pastry brush and rolling pin!
• Full knife set and chopping boards.

BBQ & Pizza Oven

• BBQ (available April to October inclusive):
  • Gas is provided.
  • All BBQ utensils provided.
• Pizza Oven (available all year round):
  • Pizza paddle, heat-protection gloves and matches.
  • Instructions (we recommend you read before using for perfect pizzas!)
  • Fuel (starter and logs) for one evening of pizza making.
  • Additional fuel packs can be purchased in advance.
  • We recommend you bring semolina, or similar, to stop the pizzas from sticking on the stones when cooking.

Herefordshire Produce Welcome Basket

• Herefordshire “Jus” Apple Juice.
• Herefordshire “Two Farmers” crisps.
• 250g locally roasted coffee beans.
• Handmade cakes.
• Pint of milk.

Bar Area

• Wine fridge

• Hydrotherapy Jacuzzi hot tub seating up to six adults: Penblaith Barn outdoors on raised patio. Trevase Granary indoors in games room.
• Six dedicated hot tub towels provided.

• Outdoor Games: rugby ball, football, football posts, badminton set, tennis rackets, cricket set and rounders set, Giant Jenga.
• Outdoor seating for up to 18 guests (chair cushions available May to October inclusive)

All bedrooms are en-suite and equipped to help guests travel light and settle in immediately.
